Today's walk was a celabration of just how beautiful Portland in the fall can be. The city took on the AVA's motto of "Friendship, Fun & Fitness" and added Food. The colors of the fall foliage along the walk were spectacular. The smiles at the start & finish booths were very friendly by each volunteer. It was a lot of fun to take part in a city event that had each park full of music, vendors, food & "Fun" for every age group. They were quite a few AVA walkers to say a quick, "Hi" to as we walked along sidewalks filled with beautiful homes, trendy shops, gardens, parks and the list goes on. A BIG "Thank You" to everyone who helped put on this walk & the city of Portland. It is a wonderful city to live in. ---Starr
