Day 2 of the Spring Getaway walks put on by the NW Trekkers. The first walk of the day was Cavalero Beach county park. What a large turnout! The 10K walk was a one-way walk from the county park to the Elger Bay Cafe'. Many of the walkers had a wonderful lunch after the walk at the Cafe'. The views of the mountain range's were spectacular and most of the walk was in the woods.
The second 10K walk was on Iverson Spit Preserve. We walked on the preserve with views of Livingston Bay, Port Susan and the Cascades in the distance. The walk also included some of the Camano Island countryside. A truly beautiful walk with something for everyone to enjoy. --Starr
