We got out there early before the weather became too hot.  I talked my nephew's mother in law who was visiting from Florida to come along for her first volkswalk.  We stopped and saw the beautiful homes and gardens that surround the area and had fun looking at the cars, some that were even in several movies.  After, Mary and I had to head home for lunch with the relatives, but the rest of the group headed out to La Petite La Provence for lunch and then over to the Garden Corner to check out all of their wonderful selections.  It's a really neat little nursery just tucked away on Avery Av.  From what I heard, everyone had a great time.  Joan from Rose City Roamers did the walk with us as well.  We had another great time, but again we didn't get a chance to meet up with Starr, our phantom Merrywalker!  Check out the pictures, there's a special one for Lou Ann in there.
