the sherwood merrywalkers  the great easter egg hunt in sherwood, march 31st

Check out our pictures from Ocean Shores.  Carolyn Uyemura, Mike, Mary Ann, Jane and our driver Angela, headed up to do the walks their over the weekend.  We all got our first walk in "the Bay walk" but in the afternoon we split up.  Mary Ann and Carolyn went shopping and Angela and I started the 10k walk at Damon State Park.  After less than 1K we headed back for the shopping. We decided on doing the walk by car the next day. 

The shopping was fun and Saturday night we hit Galloway's Pub for corned beef sandwiches and a whiskey spiked bread pudding.  The singer was from Portland and we sang American Pie right along with him. 

Sunday we did the Weatherwax walk and met the mayor from Ocean Shores and told us the Weatherwax family donated 100 acres of prime land for trails along the coast.  It wasn't on the volks walks, but it was a walk you just had to do.
