Monday night we hosted Gayle Hoybook from REI.  She had walking sticks and new fashions to show us and advise on how to use walking sticks and what to wear when walking in inclement weather.  I already went out and bought some wool socks and I'm going to try the walking sticks today.  She said that the walking sticks would definitely help with your knees, so I'm going to give it a shot.  Some of her other suggestions:  Wear Wool!  Who would have thought? 

Next month our speaker will be our own Marty from the YMCA giving us help on stretches before and after walks and also some nutrition information.
